We are proud to announce that the Teatro Colón has entrusted SVR SOUND, for the fourth consecutive year, with the sound restoration of its Historical Archives, which it publishes through the series Teatro Colón Heritage Collection Live.
For SVR SOUND, sound restoration is a technical and artistic endeavor aimed at recovering the moving power and historical truth of the original performance. Our goal is for each work to regain its original dignity and vitality, allowing today's listener to connect with the emotion of the moment in which it was created.
We thank the authorities of the Teatro Colón and its audio department for allowing us, once again, to display the art of repairing time in a sound medium so that the emotion of the original performance reaches today's listener without the barriers of degradation.
